It’s kinda cool to acknowledge that I’ve been in Amazon's affiliate program, starting as an Amazon “Associate,” since 2012!
There have been a lot of changes in working with Amazon for an added income stream, but for many people, it’s not so much a stream as a trickle. For others, Amazon brings them a full-time income.
However, the evolution of Amazon’s platform and the introduction of Amazon “Influencers” bring nice options to help grow your Amazon commissions
and gain sales. (I joined the “Influencer” program when they first launched it in 2021.)
At this time, to get into the Influencer Program, they’re looking at your follower counts (but we don’t know how many) on YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and surprisingly, TikTok. As a main criterion, they’re looking for “active and engaging”
accounts.
Tools like shoppable videos, an optimized storefront with your unique URL, and more,
offer you avenues to grow as an Amazon Affiliate in various ways that help you "influence" customers to buy your recommendations. *As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
